Tickets are booked and we are due to leave to South Korea on Saturday morning! Yay! Im sooo excited~! I got a long list of stuff in listed in my to buy list, which includes all Double-S stuffs which I manage to set my eyes on (Noona, I wont forget yr portion!), clothes, hi-cut sneakers and snacks! hee... looks like I'll have to make FULL use of my 3 days there!
Too bad SS501 will be overseas when Im there. :( I will miss them by abit as they will be heading to Taiwan and Hong Kong for promotional purpose.

Nothing much happened on both days since most of the time was spent in the office in the day and then our nights were spent watching Gu Jun Pyo and JIHOO senbai!
Here are my eats!

23/6:

Lunch: Tuna salad + orange jucie

Dinner: 汤城一品 which is just beside our apartment

The mushroom pot was the best! Yummy~

Dessert: Matcha and red bean ice-cream!

Matcha + red bean = BEST DESSERT COMBO~

Lunch: 港仔茶餐厅's dim sum~
Its was so-so only, I ate one cha siew su, one xiao long bao, one siew mai and half a carrot cake.

Dinner: 中国城, traditional teochew food!

SS501 solo collection Ep 1 is OUT!

Thanks to Quainte 501, Double S fans can get to watch the 1st episode on Youtube! For the convenience of all my Double S readers out there, here it is!

Ep 1- Yong Saeng's "Memories without a name/ Nameless memories", this episode stars all my Double-S oppas with Hyun Joong oppa as the lead character. I love the portrayal of his character, he look so manly! I'll call him the super hot-assassin with a heart of gold. Oppa, ssaranghae!

Yong Saeng's voice in AWESOME! Its so heavenly and soft. Compared to the rest of the members, I somehow feel that its most versatile and unique. He's got this special quality in his voice that will make u addicted to it. Take "find" for example, it really brings out the range of his voice, making him stand out from the rest. Yong Saeng, Fighting~

Monday = work!
Yup, Jackie gave me some work to do today! Basically since they are now calculating the cost to pay the main contractors, I helped out in collating and checking the bills and making sure that they coincide with the contract.

I attended a meeting with Jackie this morning at 930am. It was totally boring! Haha, they were so long winded. The meeting lasted for 2hrs3omins. Bleh.

Breakfast: 2 Kong guan Biscuits from Jackie's desk.

Lunch: Tuna salad + corn soup

Dinner: @圆缘圆. I had the Unagi set, while kor had the steak and Jackie had the Kimchi ramen!

Min Ho celebrated his birthday recently with his fans and guess who went as well? Yup, Hyun Joong oppa! He performed his latest single in SS501’s solo collection. His performance was GREAT as usual. Gosh, I cant seem to get enough of him. He is so amazing. SS501’s solo collection MV Ep 1 will be released real soon (in fact, I think its released in Korea already- Just now at 5pm, cant wait for someone to upload it soon!)

21/6/09: Shenyang Day 4

Breakfast: Some random oat bran cereal right from the box while watching korean F4 on TV!

While my brother went to the site for meeting again today, I went spent shopping with Jackie at 太元街! Before that, we deposited Peppy at the salon to get her hair trimmed. :)

Lunch (I mean, snacks) :关东煮 and bubble tea!

I never had 关东煮 here before, its basically just like the random stuffs like fish ball, sotong ball, seafood toufu etc, that we throw into the steamboat. I have to give it thumbs up cause its yummy and healthy!

Jackie and I had our nails done too. The whole pedicure for BOTH of us cost RMB50 (S$10), colour plus drawing~ China never fail to satisfy my beauty cravings.

Dinner: Chinese fastfood at 真功夫

Not bad for chinese fast food. 3 of us ordered 2 sets to share and added some other stuffs like steamed egg and broccoli. We had the 卤肉饭 and chicken with mushroom set. Satisfying~

We headed for karaoke after dinner. I like singing here cause they have the latest songs (suprisingly) and its cheap! We were charged RMB85 (S$17) in total for 3 hours. Totally worth it ya? :)

Breakfast: Porridge! Mum woke up early to prepare! Nothing fancy, just bakua, peanuts and salted vegetables!

Jackie and Kor had to go to the office so mum and I went walking in a ulu ulu shopping center. We walked in Carrefour too. I love supermarket shopping!

Lunch: Food court in Isetan. Isetan is the BEST shopping center here. It totally has the Japanese feel to it. Food was alright. I liked the okonomiyaki (vegetable pancake) in particular. I soo wanna try the authentic Japanese ones.

Later we shared beard papa puffs! I had the mocha flavor and I have to admit that the original one is still better. Somehow, I think that Singapore ones have a nicer and stronger vanilla taste. Nonetheless, it satisfied me sweet tooth!

Kor, Jackie and I had our hair cut today, in Isetan! Yup. Its more expensive than the normal hairstylist cause our hairstylists are… JAPANESE! Haha… yup. I got my hair trimmed and it looks way tidier now.We went shopping after that at my favorite shopping area where there are lots of cheap and nice clothes (you have to pick carefully though).

Daddy’s day dinner: We celebrated father’s day in some Japanese restaurant in Isetan. The food was nice and the portion was HUGE! We couldn’t finish and decided to doggy bag the grilled fish for breakfast with porridge. It was definitely a satisfying dinner~

Father’s day special:To daddy dear...

My dad has always been a great and loving father. Well, to me and my brother at least. J Although he spends most of his time working his ass off in China, he never fails to skype me as and when he is free. Despite chatting for just minutes, I always cherish that cause I know he cares and is thinking of us in Singapore. Well, I have to say that I think my dad is one of the greatest dad in the world. He has definitely accomplished a lot and has great ambitions. He treats his work very seriously and never fails to take care of all the details that happens in the company. I really admire his never say die attitude and the surge in him that always push himself to do better. Daddy, thank you so much for always looking out for all of us. For providing us with much more than we can ask for, for always compromising with my stubborn and willful demands and for doing so much for the family. I love you!!

This post was meant to be for yesterday (19/6/09)

When you have nothing to do, blogging seems to be the best entertainment (apart from watching double-s on Youtube and watching dramas). That explains why I have 3 posts today!

First up, congrats to my NOONA. You know what is this for!

Now, for the main post. Shenyang has been raining non stop today since the early morning. So cold and wet. We woke up early today hoping for a bright and sunny morning so that we can visit the site. But the dark clouds overpowered the sun and it was really gloomy. Nonetheless, we still went to the site cause it haven rained yet. We walked for say, 10 mins when it began pouring and we headed indoors to settle some problems with the contractors and stuff. The project is not completed yet, but as you can see from the pictures, the some buildings are up and dad hopes to get some shop houses in business by late July.

We had an early lunch with some of my dad’s friends. Yup, I enjoyed some of the restaurants but I have to say that the food here is either too oily, salty or sweet. Lunch proved to be so, but I just wanna point out an interesting dish in particular. The wild green vegetables (野菜). These are vege that are mainly found near the mountain side if Im not wrong and it has a really special taste and texture. Besides that, I also enjoyed the black fungus with cabbage (Ssangch00! *winks at zhi*)

The afternoon was spent in the office with nothing to do but watch youtube and finish watching “Antique”, which explains my earlier posts.

Dinner was steamboat!! I had lots of vegetables and the pancake was the best! It has radish and carrots inside which makes it all the more yummy! Steamboat loving~

Movie Review: Antique (Korea, 2008)

Movie Review: Antique

Synopsis:
Jin-hyuk was brought up as the well-bred heir to a corporate fortune. He has got the looks, the money and the charm, but even so, true love is hard to find. Jin-hyuk opens up a cake shop and hires Sun-woo, a talented patissier who had a crush on Jin-hyuk back in high school. Together with Gi-beom, an ex-boxing champion and Su-young, a clueless bodyguard, four unique and handsome men stir up a quiet neighborhood when they show up at the cake shop, Antique.

Fel’s thoughts:
The main reason why I watched this show was that it was about food. Best of all, CAKES! Plus, what’s not to like about 4 guys in baker/waiter suits getting their hands dirty with flour right? :p I’m glad it was up to my expectation. It has a wonderful plot (its based on a Japanese Manga) and is light-hearted with a little bit of mystery in it. All 4 main characters had great chemistry on set which was appropriately portrayed in the movie. I will have to give credit to Joo Ji Hoo cause he played an awesome bakery owner. Everything a girl who walks into a bakery hopes to see and be served by - a HOT, manly and incredibly sexy owner with a great wide smile! Watching him alone will make u drool, and not forgetting the mouth-watering cakes which were featured in the movie. YUMM! Watching Yoo Ah-in gobble the cakes down makes me hungry as well. The cakes look soo good!
There’s a little bit (I mean, ok, quite a number) of gay action in the show basically cause Kim Jae wook’s character is one that adores guys and have a little fear for the female species. Haha… I like the way he potrayed his role cause its so natural and cute! Gosh, I think I might fall in love with him if I am a guy too! He’s so feminine and his smile will just make u melt as well. Overall, It’s a great movie and definitely worth a watch!!

Our baby has grown! In my opinion, I think Hyung Joon suits eyeliner the BEST! And who is that lucky girl?

18/6: Yong Saeng- 이름없는 기억 (Nameless memory)
Pure vocals. No need for other fancy stuff to light this guy up. His voice is that of an angel's. Well, he's the prince after all ya? All dressed in white, singing with emotion. Yong Saeng FIGHTING!

19/6: Jung Min-하면은 안돼
Another emotional input from Jung Min. The thing I like about them is that they are so versatile! Jung Min's vocals gets thumbs up too! In fact, all of them were great!!

Shenyang Day 1

Hi all, yup, Im in China now, and… Im watching 篮球火 on cable! Haha...

The day started at 6am when mum and I headed to the airport to take China southern airline to Shenyang. We always take China air to Shenyang since it’s a direct flight and no transit was needed apart from just checking out at Guang Zhou without the need to carry our baggage.

We took business class this time and to my amazement, they provided a portable PDA-like thingy for us to watch movies in the plane! Well, unlike Singapore airlines, China Southern air doesn’t have the inbuilt TV thus, this PDA thing is something new and definitely as PLUS point!

The flight to Shenyang lasted for 6 hours with a break between in Guang Zhou and for the first half of the journey I was reading my book (Daniel isn’t talking- review later when Im done!) and listening to SS501, the second half was spent still reading my book and listening to music and also watching a Korean movie called “Antique” (which I have yet to finish watching cause the battery died halfway, I will review the show once Im done with it!)

Food on board:
Meal 1

I didn’t have much appetite, thus I had the SoyJoy Almond and Raisin Bar, bread and the bowl of fruit instead. I really love Soy bars! They taste like soya biscuits bought from Jollibean (although jollibean biscuits are one of the BEST~). The reason why I like this bar is that it had 2 of my favorite ingredients in the world! RAISINS and ALMONDS! Haha… so, its kinda bias on my part to naturally have a liking for it. Not only that, they also have chocolate bits (and I assume is dark) which makes every bite taste nicer!

Meal 2

The food was BAD. So, I whooped out the second bar I kept in my bag. The LARA BAR- Key lime flavor and I really enjoyed it! YUMM! Taste totally like dessert! Haha… the slight sweetness from the dates and subtle sourness from the lime concentrate, plus the fragrance of the coconut bits and crunchiness from the nuts makes every bite worth it. Slightly too sour (but I love sour stuffs so no problem for me) but interesting flavor! $3+ for this bar is a little pricy but worthwhile indulging sometimes!

We reached Shenyang around 6 plus and waited for my brother and dad before heading for dinner.

Dinner was… KOREAN GINSENG CHICKEN!

Gosh, I think Im really falling in love with all things Korean. Haha. Must be 爱屋及乌, for my Hyun Joong, I will LOVE HIS COUNTRY, THE FOOD AND THE CULTURE AS WELL! Haha… the soup was really yummy but my favorite was the kimchi pancake! Sooo yummy! Its not spicy at all and its filled with kimchi goodness!

Dessert was stolen from the apartment’s fridge.

Haha.. Jackie and Kor bought some limited Roche and I ate the Pistachio one today! NICE. Unlike the traditional ones, this is filled with white chocolates! Not overwhelmingly sweet and crunchy!! Cant wait to try the rest!
Tml will most prob be spent on site. Guess I will have to restrict my diet a little since I haven bought my exercise mat and have not found the alternative exercising method here… I will think of something SOON!

China, here I come...

We've booked the tickets and will be leaving tml morning at 8am, and I have not packed mu stuffs yet?!! I have been really lazy in doing so.. haha. So I guess last minute packing will do. :)

Well, these are the bars that Im planning to bring along with me to China. YES, Ive bought a larabar which I've heard sooo many good reviews about. I cant wait to taste it!

Food Journalling will resume with the next entry from China! I've heard that China has blocked certain websites and hopefully blogspot is not one of them and I will be able to give all of u a glimpse of my life in China~ Anyway, this trip will not be as long as last year's mainly cause I have to be back for my shape run and it has been a long time since I celebrated my birthday in Singapore with JT and the girls, thus, this year will be spent here! :) I wanna have my Korean feast with my ladies! haha...

Well, as some of you might know, I will be heading to China to visit my brother, help my sis-in-law with work and hopefully take a short vacation to South Korea (!!!!) *if my dad is serious*. So one thing that I’m kinda worried about is not having the space and time to work-out during this trip. I will not only be missing out on my training routine for my run, but also not have the equipments to work on my fitness DVDs. The last time I went over, my brother had me and my mum enrolled for free in the gym near our apartment cause they are members but this time around, I doubt it will be possible. L It kind of worries me thinking of not being about to work out… and since my shape run is coming up, I really want to maintain my running speed and stamina. I’ll still be bringing my DVDs though, hopefully I can get a cheap exercise mat there and sweat it out at home a little if I don’t get to run. As for the running part, I guess I’ll just have to make do with my situation and maybe run around my apartment? Hmms…I’ll have to devise a plan!!! THINK fel, THINK!!!

And guess what?! I’ve found a fitness goddess to look up to in terms of training and keeping up with my fitness routine. Stick thin girls are no long the IN thing! Take a look at Kim Kardashian! And I’ve got to admit that she IS HOT! I like her attitude towards her own body image and her confidence. Here’s her comment on one of her recent photo shoot…

“Complex(magazine, i think) later replaced the pic with the photoshopped version, causing all of this drama. But you know what, who cares! So what: I have a little cellulite. What curvy girl doesn't!? How many people do you think are photoshopped? It happens all the time!”

Hey all, this weekend is filled with work again. Similar to last week, JT and I have promoter jobs to do. This time is with Ribena and will be my last job b4 heading to China!

Well, I spent my Friday with JT in the afternoon then with my ladies. We had dinner at Soup Spoon and the Roasted Pumpkin soup is SOOO YUMMY! I LOVE PUMPKINS! Cant wait to buy packets of them to store in my fridge. The soup is filled with pumpkin sweetness and lots of great pumpkin health benefits. TRY NOW! Haha… I wont be food journaling this weekend as well since it wont be exciting anyway.

Well, I had lots of fun during out meet up. Zhi and I practically went crazy over Hyun Joong oppa. Apparently, she is planning to steal him away from me! HMPH! Haha… I think I must look for more Min Ho news to make her stick to her own oppa. I’m loving this girl of mine SO MUCH!

Movie Preview: Blood- The last vampireAs some of yoy might know, Blood- The Last Vampire is a movie adapted from an anime. About a vampire slayer slaying bad vampires with the slayer herself being a vampire as well... yada yada… Frankly speaking, as a fan of all things vampire, I was looking forward to watching this film when JT told me about it. Well, it has vampires, darkness and gore so, what is there not to like right?? BUT, when I watched it just now, I was DISAPPOINTED!!!! Gosh, IT WAS BAD!!! I mean, VERY BAD! The plot was bad, not gore-y enough and the effects were only SO-SO. L Hais. So, if u are looking for a vampire show similar to blade, interview with vampire, true blood etc… well, this is rather different, a approach which I didn’t enjoy. This show gets… 2/5 popcorns.

Food Review: Melrose 100% almond spread.I LOVE THIS!! Really! I literally ate it out of a spoon right from the JAR! And in 1 week, its almost GONE! Haha. This almond spread has a light crunch and subtle sweetness. Pure nutty sweetness. Well, although it’s slightly pricey, I think its worth every penny cause u will be enjoying every moment of it! YUMMY!

Hello! Well, I’ve been MIA for the last 2 days, so here are the updates!

The past weekends was spent with BREATH RIGHT...

Yesterday, JT and I returned the stuffs for the promotion to the office at Chinatown. We went walking around Bugis after that. Here are some stuff I’ve bought!

Clockwise: BOF DVD Part 1 n 2 ( bought it today actually), pedometer, calorie balance bars fm a Korean supermart.

I cant wait to try and see if the pedometer works! Its only $39~. If it works, I will be able to save $400 plus bucks since I wont need my polar watch anymore!! Will test it out real soon! Later actually…

I will give a review on the bars when I try them. Which will be real soon too!

Finally I get to watch BOF on TV instead of my laptop. I bought it to bring to China so that I can watch with Jackie at night! Haha…

I watched the last episode of WGM today and I cried. Like all the JoongBo fans out there, I’m really going to miss my SSangch00 Couple. I wish they would never end their marriage. 

Lunch: Popiah @ Takashimaya
I love the Popiah there! Got to be one of the BEST! The popiah was FAT and JUICY! I love popiah with lots of textures, and the popiah there definitely got what it takes! It consist of the normal popiah filling (radish), taukua, peanut, crunchy, egg and cucumbers! LOVE it!

JT had the omelet noodles. Also as nice!

Snack: Yoghut
I had yoghurt while watching Terminator Salvation. I’m not a terminator fan but it was worth watching! JT said (and I have to agree) that the storyline was a little complicating and rather dark. But it was action packed and will keep you glued to the screen all the way!

I bought 2 korean books and a new headphone today. Im serious in learning KOREAN!

Dinner: Porridge @ Ah Seah Kopitiam

This is one of the place that sells good Teochew porridge. A place I always frequent!! I will post the nice dishes if I remember to take photos of them.

Morning exercise: 2.4km round the track with mum. We were gossiping! Gossip gossip gossip.

Breakfast: 1 Alpen Bar and teh siew dai (less sugar) @ serangoon garden hawker centre

Lunch: Organic sesame energy bun and soya biscuits with soya milkI was watching WGM (again) while eating.

Evening exercise: Run @ stadium! I had all my SS501 and BOF songs playing in my shuffle while running. That made the run soooo much easier. Plus I was smiling to myself (thinking of BOF and Hyun Joong oppa) while running. The uncles must be laughing at me.. haha..

Dinner: Home cooked meal+ dark chocolates and frozen grapefruit!

Lunch: Fish Soup @ Golden Mile and WAFFLE!

JT and I had to go for product training in a office situated at beach road thus we went to Golden Mile Food Centre for luch! I had fish soup. The soup was great, fish was fresh, but it was blend. I still prefer the fish soup in the S11 at Serangoon Central.

JT had Terriyaki Chicken set. The set consisted of the teriyaki chicken, rice, miso soup, chawanmushi and a slice of watermelon, and for $4.90 both of us thought that it was WORTH THE MONEY! JT liked the chicken and said it was soft and sweet! So, go try for yourselves!

WAFFLE- HOW CAN WE NOT LOVE THEM? YUMMMMM!

We had some extra time in hand thus, we went walking around Haji Lane. There so many nice boutiques there! I cant wait to go back again! The walls had some nice graffiti on them and the shops are all soo unique!

Product training was sooo long… the person in charge kept repeating what she said. I was suppose to meet Zhi at 6pm and was delayed cause of that. SORRY ZHI! Oh ya, I will be role playing as an ELF! Haha.. and JT, a wizard!! Haha… dress up time!

I met up with zhi, ngiam, ryan and Adrienne for k box after the training. I love k-boxing sessions with them! As usual, Zhi and I went crazy over BOF and WGM (haha, I managed to influence zhi to watch the show! And soon, she will fall in love with Hyun Joong OPPA! Haha… zhi, stick with Min Ho OPPA ok? Haha. ) Not only that, I found out that my zhi watches the same stupid (but interesting) show as I do!! Haha… we were having soo much fun sign-languaging while ryan was singing 愛如潮水! Haha… MADNESS! Gosh, I love her soooo much cause she never fails to make me laugh!

To all my loves out there who adore Wenworth Miller or enjoy some action filled drama, be sure to check out Prison Break Season 4 on channel 5 tonight! They are airing it every Tues, Wed and Thurs. So, be sure to catch it at 10pm!

Frankly speaking, I have watched the series online and I enjoyed it! Its got to be one of my fav US drama cause of all the twists and turns of events and of course, Miller’s intense blue eyes! Rewatching it would never be a chore.

My Toys' World

I didn't buy much in HongKong other than TOYS!!! Hahah, feels satisfied. I have got 3 different toys from this trip; first is the black figurine ( i dont know its name ), a green king ken and a pair of nike high cut shoes! I have been searching those miniature shoes for a very time and wala, you can find tons of them in WanChai.

This is my collection so far and still counting. I aim to get a toy for every trip i go.

The upper shelf have been filled with toys already. So time to make way for the newcomers, the lower shelf.

It’s the beginning of the month and I’ve decided to start a food and execise journal not only to keep track of my intake in order to shape up but also to start food blogging if possible! Haha… I told JT I wanted to start a blog solely for that reason but he sees no point to that thus, my journal journey will start here officially today! Yay!

Breakfast: My all time favorite Alpen light bar with Swiss Miss Chocolate Milk
I really enjoy the berry version of Alpen Light cause its neither too sweet nor tasteless. Furthermore, it has a whinny bit of yoghurt drizzling which adds to my calcium intake!
Exercise: 45mins of tennis + 30 mins leisure swimming (less than 10 laps though)
The weather was soo hot that it just gave me a headache throughout the day! 

Lunch: I had a turkey breast salad from subway, and I love love LOVE it! Although it was $6.50, it was worth it! Refreshing on a hot, humid day!

JT had chicken rice from “Sheng Mei Shi”. It was featured on a food show on channel 8. Like most of the reviewers said on the show, he agreed that the chicken was really tender but otherwise it was so so. So I guess it was worth a try!

We had juice from NUS Blend to go with our meal. I had the apple with yakult while JT had strawberry blend. Mine would have been better if there were red apples but since it was out of stock, I had the green apple and I think it was a little too sour. JT’s was nice, but a little too sweet for my liking.

While walking around AMK hub, we snacked on the famous 4 Seasons durian pancake! JT LOVES IT! Although the durian was too strong for my liking, the paste was cold and blends nicely with the hot and crispy pancake. I love the pancake, how I wish they sold it alone. Haha….
After slacking around at home watching “yu le bai fen bai”, I sent JT to S11 to have dinner with his aunt and had dinner.

Dinner: I tried the new Xndo packet meals. Today, I had the tomato soup. And I liked it! I added mixed vege in to include a bit more fibre and also had a bread to go along. I knew I will snack on biscuits later so I stuck to having 1 piece of bread so that I can enjoy my biscuits!! YUM! I will DEFINITELY get the soup again! I later had wang wang, another alpen and grapes!

It was Death Falcon's Day last friday. Song and I met up to celebrate Derek's Birthday! whoohoo!! Sounds so gay but good friends are meant to be cherished and treasured, just like FK and Zhi. Haha. It was a simple affair, we didnt want to call too many people so it's just the 3 of us. I brought them to Chomp Chomp since they hvnt been there before, for an eye-opener. (missing out on alot,guys) I bet it was but those fellas kept complaining the place was Ulu. Song your telok blangah area is worse!

Thank God its FRIDAY! Well, it doesn’t really matter much to me anyway since I’m kinda bumming at home and doing stuffs that I like. 

JT and I were suppose to play tennis this morning but I went out for breakfast with my mum and came home a little later than planned thus we cancelled it till tml. It was also partially because we were going for an interview at 4pm at chin swee road for a promotion job. Thus after lunch, we went for the interview! It was quite fun cause it was a casting cum interview. The event company is looking for promoters for a new breathe right kids nasal strip thus we had to act out a little “skit” by reading some script and pretend that we were attending to kids. There were 3 other girls with us and apparently the interviewee thought that JT and I were suited for the job and the other girls didn’t (I think so too! Haha… JT was great! As for the 3 girls, I don’t really wanna comment on them cause I thought they were rather unprofessional and didn’t take the interview seriously)

Yup, so JT and I have jobs now!! YAHOO! Its $7/hr and we will have to work from 11am-8pm (with an hour of unpaid lunch break) dressed as wizards, angels and elves promoting the product at IMM! Isn’t that interesting! Haha… I wanna do the angel!!!! Lets see if they will give me that role! Haha… in fact elves are not bad too, I’ll get to wear pointy ears! Product training will be held on the coming wed 3/6 and they still need about 10 promoters. Any takers???

After the interview, I came home and did Jillian Micheal's Banish Fat and Boost Metabolism DVD for a good 50mins! I was perspiring like no one's business and my legs and arms sored like mad. But somehow, I LOVE this torturous feeling cause I felt like I really did accomplish something! This workout comprises of a mixture of core and strength conditioning as well as cardio and kickboxing. Totally met up with the expectation I had for the DVD. And this baby together with my 30 day shred DVD will definately fly with me to Shenyang mid June if Im going there!! Im contemplating to get more DVDs from Amazon.com since its good investment and monay well spent. Will be looking up for more DVDs!

Finally I have faced the cold harsh reality that Man Utd had been defeated by Barca in Rome. It was devastating watching your favourite team playing that way, stabs me right through the heart. It aches every moment they lost possession of the ball and being devoured by Barca's relentless attacks. What to do, what to do??

Luckily for me, i had something to look forward to after the match. Lunch at Tiffany's cafe at Furama Hotel. It was an international buffet but they weren't exactly fantastic. Below are some of the dishes they had there.

It didnt rain today! So at 530pm sharp I went for my 10km run! It feels sooo good since I haven ran since I came back from Hong Kong. While walking back from the stadium, I had a sudden thought.. JT, IM GOING TO PROPOSE MONTHLY CHALLENGES! hee.. well, I realized that there are so many things in life that we should try thus, challenges makes them all interesting and fun! YAHOO! haha... these challenges may be physical or just a test of our limits, sounds fun ya? haha... well, I will be posting the challenges one week ahead and anyone who are interested in joining can just inform us (or rather me) through the chat box! Hms, any nice recommendations are also welcome! haha... gosh, it haven started and Im all excited already~

Here are some challenges that I can think of...
1. ECP route jog (not as challenging ya?)
2. Visiting the zoo and taking pics with snakes or whatever..

haha... I cant think of any of now. But I will be wreaking my brains to think of fun stuffs!

28th May marks the birth of my LOVE 22years ago. So I wanna wish Zhi once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! May u have a wonderful day ahead and find your Goo Jun Pyo soon!

We had a 1504 gathering cum birthday celebration at East Coast Park yesterday and it was FUN! We met up with so many of our classmates that I have not seen for 3 years since our last class gathering (HuiChing, XiaoTong, JiaXin, ChengHwan, KaiLin). The BBQ food was fabulous, one of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Good food and great company. All thanks to Adrienne, we had mussels, steak, sotong, stingray, Mushroom with cheese, chicken wings, hotdogs, mango pudding and a wonderful chocolate cake from Bakerzin- credit to Ngiam.

The chocolate cake was the BEST! All mousse-y and chocolate-ty. YUM! We didn’t have much to drink though cause there were some of them who had to drive. Adrienne brough along a lychee vodka which her friend bought for her. And I only have one word to describe it “BAD”. All of us agreed that it taste soo much like cough mixture and so does that colour (Its pink!). The packaging was nice though. Very girly and pinky! Which I happen to like very much! *hint at Adrienne*

After the bbq, I met up with JT at 1am and we headed to Tian’s place to play on his PSP and watch the champions league (Barcelona V Man Utd). I’ll leave out the details but all I have to say was that I was really disappointed with Man Utd’s perfomance and thought that they could do better. After the game, the guys faces said it all.

This BBQ spurred us to have more gatherings and thus, here are the lists 1504~1. Sentosa2. K Box3. Dinner at the place Adrienne recommended?4. Club anyone?
Today will be spent bumming around at home and watching dramas as usual and I’ll be going for my 10k run in the stadium if it doesn’t rain! *fingers crossed* Gosh, the weather is so hot and humid. I think I’m going to faint.

The Coca Cola Dream is officially over! I can't remember if i have blogged this about us getting out from the semis. But yup that's the truth. We totally mislooked one of their criteria in the ad brief. Nonetheless, I will like to share what my group have done and what our idea is roughly about. All those gruelling late nights and their final product! I cannot upload the videos, maybe i will try it in facebook. Last but not least, i will like to thank all those who have played a part in the project. Tianwee, Kok Hong, Ke Jiang, Teck Wee, FK, Hen and Charlene! Thank you all so much for being so sporting, appreciates it greatly! And also my beloved groupmates, Song and Derek, you guys are simply the best!

This is an installation where teens like ourselves can pose with. Studying late nights, why not have a coke to accompany with you. Thats roughly our idea. Notice the table protrusion from the wall and the cap seat, it form a sort of 3D effect which is prevalent in all of our installations below. We believe that so far in Singapore, it hasnt been done before. Please tell me if i have got it wrong, okay? =)

This is the ultimate Coca Cola Cooler. Yes, a cooler that has coke! That's why the queue behind it. We have this idea in mind that coke sometimes gives us surprises like what our friends do. So, isnt it surprisng for coke to have a cooler and it is free?!!

This is an idea where friends are having fun with coke. How can we forget about the coke explosion with mentos? Yea, we want people to be part of the fun, so we have provided an "exploding coke" for one to pose in!

This is a coke playpark that we have come up with. A place for one to pause and refresh. All these installations are meant to be in Orchard Area. See if you can spot those places! Alrights, that's all, folks! Enough of coke now.

BACK FROM HONG KONG! Its was fun, fun, FUN! We did all the 买东西，吃东西 stuff and had lots of fun. Hee… photos will be uploaded real soon so, bear with us while we do some tidying up with all the pics we took!

Well, trip aside, I’ve got stuffs for the ladies to enjoy! Well, some of u might have caught this commercial on youtube but for all my ladies who are new F4 lovers, F3 (Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum and Kim Jun) together with Son Dambi are the faces of Anycall(Samsung)’s new Haptic call series! Enjoy the commercial! Hee… Hyun Joong looks sooo good! For those who are interested, check out Anycall Haptic Mission! It’s a mission the 4 of them had to do to be the new face of this phone! Its really cute!

JT and I caught Star Trek today. We have been wanting to watch this movie a long time ago and I was glad we did today cause I liked it! One of the reason I wanted to watch it was due to the fact that Zachary Quinto was acting in it. I enjoyed his performace as Sylar in Heroes so I was really interested when I knew that he was playing Spock in the movie. I am not a star trek fan and was never interested in the movie or what-so-ever, but my eyes were glued to the big screen throughout and I really enjoyed it. Don’t ask me why, but I was somehow just attracted to Spock. The way he stares is so intense and attractive despite his funny eye browns and pointy ears. Its maybe cause we caught the movie in digital and thus it was really sharp and clear. NICE. I will give it 4/5 stars!

First and foremost, Zhi is back from Australia!! YAY! WELCOME BACK BABE! Time to catch up soon after my trip ya! MISS YOU SOOO MUCH~

Now, for the main topic of the day… As some of you might have noticed, I have been watching the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango (Boys over flowers BOF) and I simply LOVE THIS VERSION! Haha. Its as good as the Taiwan one and so much better than the Japanese one!
Well, I felt that the korean version has better settings and wardrobe selection compared to the other two. The settings were much more realistic and the characters dressed so much better! Acting wise, I cant really comment on the Jap version cause I didn’t complete the series (I just cant stand watching it cause I felt that the cast sucked.). I personally like Lee Min Ho’s acting more than Jerry Yan’s but Jerry’s Tsukasa Domyouji was so much better towards the ending. As for Rui, I kinda liked Vic Zhou’s version more. Kim Hyun Joong’s acting not too bad as well, but I liked Vic’s subtleness more. Kim Hyun Joong looked great though! Haha looked great though! Haha. Kim Bum played a better Sojirou Nishikado than Ken Chu. I felt that Ken Chu looked too much like an “uncle” to play a high school student thus Kim Bum made a better choice. Furthermore, Kim Bum has more of the “prince” feel compared to Ken. I dun really have much to say about the character of Akira Mimasaka cause I feel that this character was sort of overpowered by the rest. None of the versions played up the character development of Akira Mimasaka so I was a little disappointed with it cause I think that it might be a little more interesting to give a more in depth intro to Akira Mimasaka as well. So, both Kim Joon and Vanness Wu were OK in their role. Now to the lead female character, Tsukushi Makino. Barbie Hsu’s version had a stronger character compared to Koo Hye Sun. I felt she was more Tsukushi Makino than Koo Hye Sun. Overall, both the Taiwan and Korea’s version were good, so both are definitely worth a watch!

LEE MIN HO is my main focus!!

Yup, Lee min ho plays Goo Jun Pyo (Tsukasa Domyouji ) in Boys over flowers, and I have to admit that he IS really gorgeous! Apart from the way-tooo-curvy Tsukasa Domyouji's trademark hairstyle, he is PERFECT! I'm not going to compare him with Jerry Yan for now, but I think he did pull off his role rather nicely. Its THE Tsukasa Domyouji that was like the comic. Chauvinistic, yet still innocent and full of love in his own special way. :)

Now that I'm having my holidays, sometimes I feel that I've got so much time in hand that I dont really know what to do. So these few days were spent exercising, watching Heroes, Gossip Girl, Fringe, Desprate Housewives and meeting up with friends. Next week will be more eventful with the Hong Kong trip coming up! YAY!

JT had dinner with me and my mum at Serangoon County Club on Tuesday.

Our eats includes:

The vege were fresh and the sauce was just right. It was good.

JT- Black Pepper Steak.

We realized the portion has became smaller since we last went to have dinner there. Hms, he didnt say much about it but he liked the sauce!

Me- Dory Fish with capers and black vinegar sauce

Well, it was ok but really small! I switched the mashed potatos for vege to cut down on the carbs. I wanted to eat the white bread they provided! hehe..

Mum- Tuna sandwich in wheat bread

I had 1/4 of it cause my mum cant finish and I was still hungry. Nice! I love TUNA and since I haven had tuna in mayo for quite some time I decided to indulge a little.

Eats on the other nights were normal home cooked meals. Nothing much to blog about.

Then on Thurs at 2, I went to party world with my uni mates. Gosh, I love singing! I want MORE!

It rained when I wanted to go for my 10k jog today, so I decided to upgrade and do level 3 of my 30 day shred! It was tiring and I felt so good after completing it!! YAY~

Alright, I have a confession to make. Some of u might have known (I think only JT by the way) that I have this thing for vampires. Anything related to them. I dun know when this started but I think it was since I first watched "An interview with a vampire" and realized that they are such mysterious and dark creatures with so much history behind their existence. Haha, I think it was the way they are potrayed in the movies and books with made them feel so special, from the "humans" to the predators. Amazing!
Well, JT just told me last night that they will be airing "Blade the series" on Channel 5 on the 17th May. Be such to catch it! And for some who might be interested in more bloody vampire action, there's also "True Blood"!!!

FK and i have been fans of electrico but their new music direction lately hasnt been our cup of tea. However, i still look out for information on the band. And this is what i have found out recently; they have a new mtv called FACES from their latest album last year. The mtv is directed by the upcoming, next big thing, local young director called Boo Jun Feng. Also hailed as the next Eric Khoo. I like the way he shot it, you will hardly see the band members in the mtv but you will recognize a few familiar faces in it. Very emo, my kinda genre. Theme of mtv suits the song totally. Enough said, just watch and enjoy!

Yup, that was yesterday. Haha. Ended my year 3 sem 2 exams with my Jap studies paper which I thought was not bad of an end and hopefully, I wont have to SU it and leave my SU option for that stupid IT course I took. Well, I guess I should'nt have taken it in the first place since Im such an IT IN-savy person! ERR.

Well, since exams are over, I should be sleeping in late right? But I'm up at 8am! haha. I think the biological clock is working on me and the alarm went on at 7.50am. hee.. I guess its a good habit. Great, now that exams are over, I can spend more time blogging! WOOT!

Today, JT and I did some jogging, and we went to watch X-men Origins: Wolverine! I like the movie. Interesting way to discover about wolverine's past considering that I havent read the comic and stuff. Nice. As usual, Hugh Jackman's body was.. INCREDIBLE, but I'll have to give a special mention about Daniel Henney who plays Agent Zero in the movie cause he's just HOT and very cute! haha.

Well, back to the movie, I thought that the show overall was good. It was interesting and I was glued to the screen throughout, wanting to know more about Wolverine's past. It was a good illustration for those who haven read the comics. JT didnt really like th fighting scenes though. And my fav scenes were the part where the "villians" went around killing for that special metal they needed... I thought it was quite cool.. :) besides, there was Daniel Henney, so, DUH! haha. X-men Origins: Wolverine gets 4/5 popcorns from me! I wish they did a X-men Origins: Cyclops or something cause it has been my favourite character since the first movie... I wonder why.. :)

Since exams are over, there has been so many things I wanna do. Here is a short list:

2. Dad's Birthday present (scrapbook maybe?)

3. Planning for Hong Kong ( Pls let the swine flu die away... PLEASE!)

Woot~ this week has been alil too intensive. Stayovers for either play or work and little sleep made up my days. My friends and i stayed over at joe's place for a game of winning eleven before sending him off to dubai. Imagine playing for 1am to 9am of winning eleven! I have shunned away from psp till today. haha. The pics below basically show the shit we were doing that night.

Fun time after the exams phase one

Finally fun time after the exams! My phase one of the holidays. I had spent my friday evening with Gaylords and gang. We met at GWC and had Ben & Jerrys!! We had flavours such as chunky monkey(so-so), macedemia nuts, strawberry cheesecake(yummy), funky chunks(can't remember the actual name), cookies and cream(nice) and i cant remember the last flavour. 6 flavours in total with a small discount off the total cost. Worth it!

We went to XLB restaurant for dinner at 9pm, Holland V. 23 bucks for a steamboat dinner with unlimited dishes of steamboat ingredients, xiaolongbaos, charsiew baos, and many other more side dishes. Gosh what more can you ask for! No wonder the place is packed with people. Just some advice on the soup selection; Sze Chuan soup is the one filled with dried chilli! Damn spicy, those who can take and like such stuff should probably choose it. Not for the faint hearted. The one beside it is called Dan-Dan soup, it has a peanut flavour to it. Peanut Soup!! Not peanut peanut but peanut butter peanut!! I can't really say i like it but i had no choice to dip my food in it as the Sze chuan is simply too spicy. A safer choice will be the pig-bone soup. Not in the pictures though.

Did i mention that the selection of meat is crazy? There is a huge variety available there,from white meat of fish to red meat of beef! The prawns served are really fresh as well.

My take: Worth it and 2 thumbs up.

Ok, I know I should be studying or doing something related to my paper instead of blogging right now, but I woke up at 730 today and did 1 hr of reading, so I guess I get some credit right? haha. Truthfully, I never believe in last minute studying hours or mins before my paper, so I never really bothered to. So, studying usually officially stops the night before I go to bed. But somehow I felt that I had to go through some important clauses before my paper thus the reading session just now.

I just ate Breakfast consisting of my usual alpine summer berry bar and swiss diet chocolate milk and I'm going to take a nice cool shower b4 I head to school to print some last minute notes (yup, YSYG.) haha.. Paper starts at 1pm and ends at 3pm. Cant wait to get it OVER and DONE! Then I will be back to study for tomorrow's CONTECH! and maybe ingulde in my Jillian's 30 day shred (Day 1) for 20 mins instead of a jog since I haven really finished my con tech preparation.

Gosh, Im so tired after reading all the law clauses. Its giving me a headache so I've decided that I shall stop here for now and continue tonight! Law always works better at night for me. :)

Oh ya, the main purpose of this post is to look for a partner that is willing to go for shape run 2009 with me! haha. JT cant go since its a women's only event... Im goin to sign up tml online though. I wanted to go for the 10km one... but decided on the 5km one first to kick start my running journey... hehe.. I'm really kinda excited about this since I have been contemplating to take part in runs like this a long time ago. Its on the 19th July and Early bird price is at $35 if u register from 25 and 26 april. This comes with a nike tee (the pink one) and lots of other stuff!

I just had my last paper yesterday and i swear that is the toughest out of the rest.

Damn it! I just hope everything will not go too far off from my expectations.

This is the final stretch of the semester!

Just some updates from this semester. My friends and I produced a short 1 min film project for one of our school assignments. This is the video entitled Rice Bowl. Its recess week and I have been studying rather "hard" lately, so I haven been going out much and my food optiond these days are mostly the same.. will put up the pics another time, Basically, I survive on cereal and bars. haha. Boring I know, but I love having them. My ultimate comfort food.

Cinnamon Puffins and aLive Bixies are the main ingredients in my cereal bowl and I usually have 2 BIG servings. *They are BRAIN FOOD! haha.. yup, and with plenty of NUTS
*brain food again* and Raisins!

Tomorrow's lunch will be different. I decided to go n get orgainc buns! (Those that my 2 lovely zamaos said were MOULDY). BTW, they taste great and r not mouldy la! No more cereal tml cause I wanna keep my cereal stash for next week, so I better control! *They dont sell Puffins in NTUC or Cold storage so I had to make a trip to VITAKIDS at Form in Orchard to get them*

Jere's exams are over. Lucky him. I JUST CANT WAIT to get mine over and done with. Before I head back to study, I will leave with 2 recommended MVs!

Son Dam Bi is deemed as Korea's female Rain! Well, u will know why they gave her this title after watching the MVs. All I can say is that, she's HOT and boy, she CAN DANCE! I love the song "crazy" its sooo catchy. Before u know it, u will be twisting and shaking to the rhythm!

"Cry eye"' MV is GOOD... The choreo and her groove is really amazing. Watch till the end where she shows a little of her Krump. Nice.

I think Son Dam Bi looks like 李彩桦 (the leading actress of the 7pm show on channel 8). No wonder I find her so familiar when I watched the MV. But she wayy hotter!

WHAT THE HELL???? Writing as official letter stating my withdrawal from PTS makes it look like its totally our fault! Common, the department sucks at handling such stuff. Firstly, the just dump us to the hands of one IRRESPONSIBLE "lecturer" to help us seek companies for our PTS, and that irresponsible freak just allocate a company and then where's he to help us liase??? I mean, at least make sure that your student's placement is confirm and give your students offical letter of employement! And the stupid department can even suggest for us to buy the tickets for our flight first even without informing the other party. Gosh. What if we are really so dumb to do so and when we reach China the company there have closed down??? I CANT BELIEVE THAT THEY GIVE US SUCH BRAINLESS SUGGESTIONS!!!

For now, I cant think logically to write a proper and decent withdrawal letter. I think I need to soak my head into icy cool water to cool it down.

At least I've learnt something from this experience.. 1) Singapore's University have DEFINATELY NOT reached world-class standards and is way offf the mark. 2) Never trust the department for arranging such stuffs for you. 3) Some lecturers are just so full of themselves. In actual fact, they just cant get things done. All they know how to do is to talk big and make themselves sound so great. Crap.

2 more weeks till recess week and before I know it, my exams will end soon. Gosh, I cant wait for 4th of May to come when I can really get a full 8 hour of sleep and really RELAX! :)

I've got my Jap project down, so currently, there's risk, con tech and facilities to go~ Dajie, zamaos and Yili will be coming over in 30 mins time to get our projects done. It will be a long long day.. but with all the crazy "bitches" around, I guess it will be a fun filled, exhausting day to come (and should I mention, night as well?) hehe.

Well, here are my recent eats...

We prayed my ancestors recently cause it was 清明节 and so, we had LOTS of food! I was glad Jere came to help us gobble them down...

Im hooked to a new bar, its a range of slim secrets bars. I had a morning REV-UP (cafe latte flavoured) during Risk lecture and it was sooo yummy! It tastes almost like a chocolate bar! And due to the caffine in it, it kept me alert the entire day! I love it so much that I went to buy another flavour (chocolate mint with green tea). I cant wait to indulge in it!

I had my all-time favorite yoplait light yoghurt the night before, this time I tried the Boston Cream flovour. Yum! Totally worth the $5 i spent on it! (yes i know, its expensive... )

Oh ya. I finished reading Twilight and New Moon on my iphone! Gosh, I cant tell u how much I LOVE my phone cause it has sooo many appliciations and so many things I can do with it! haha.. I just downloaded Eclipse and I cant wait to read it! Yahoo!

Projects, projects, projects, this is what is revloving around my life these few days. ARGH. Well, I'm left with 3 weeks to the end of the sem, so I guess I will just have to bear with it a little longer till eveything ends!

Here are my eats from the past few days...

Thurs: I cooked broccoli with mushrooms and peas! I guess I squeezed in too much lemon cause it was way..... TOO SOUR~

I didnt really enjoy this.. taste abit tooo fake-ish. Cant really taste the CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER.

Fri: Had meetings, then I met Jere for dinner at Hougang Mall! We went with his aunt, I had yong tau hu but I didnt take any pics though.

Sat: Jere stayed over to study. I had to pray my ancestors so, Im glad I had some help from him! Dinner was oatmeal with cranberries, 1 packet of wang wang and wheat biscuits, and an orange! SATISFIED.

I bought this bowl/cup and it comes with a cover and spoon for $13.90! How I wish there was a kuromi one...

The theme of this week's challenge on project runway was to use eco-friendly materials to design a cocktail dress. These were the 2 best ones the judges liked. I prefer the one on the left! Its got a toot toot. CUTE.

Shinjuku Incident and Tuesday eats!

As mentioned, I went to watch Shinjuku Incident with my babe, Zhiying! haha.. Who better to do some star-gazing other than Zhi? We were both so excited to see Daniel Wu and were even thinking of taking photos with him! Come think about it, thats rather impossible ya? haha... We went for the reception at 730 and we stood at the front which was where the reception area was. It felt kinda special cause we get to eat while waiting fot them to arrive! haha... but we didnt eat anything cause I felt odd when every other person were surrounding and watching u eat. haha.

Alright, they arrived at say 815 and the crowd were crazy when they saw Jackie Chan! haha.. Zhi and I were drooling over Daniel Wu though. Gosh, he's really HOT! :) Jackie Chan was more friendly than Daniel (haha, sounds like he's my friend or something), he really got this DA GE attitude, which I found was rather 难得for a superstar like him. COOL. It was Jackie Chan's birthday so they celebrated it for him too! hehe.. They stayed for only 15 mins or so and left.

Zhi and I went to breadtalk to get bread in to eat while watching the show. I LOVE BREADTALK's PUMPKIN BUN! Anyway, I'll have to say that Shinjuku Incident is really a different kind of Jackie Chan movie. Its doesnt have the typical Jackie Chan's fighting scene and it focus more on the emotional aspects. I kinda like the show cause it kept me entertained throughout! Im not going to tell u guys whats gonna happen on the show but dont watch it with a FULL TUMMY! haha.. *big clue* Overall, I like the fact that it was filmed in the streets of Japan cause its so vibrant and colourful! Plus there was alot of 1st time scenes for Jackie Chan so... yup, u guys can check it out! (Its so unlike me to recommend a Jackie Chan movie cause I dont really like the rest of them).

Now, to today's eats... I whipped up an egg white mushroom and mixed peas omelete! But its sooo not filling and I had to eat like.. 2-3 cups of cereal, prunes and a fruit! haha... They were all healthy though. Right? hehe...YUM!

I just downloaded twilight on my iphone. It says it's compatible for ver 2.2 but still works will on my ver 2.1. I'M glad. :)

My organic pumkin pao was sold out again. Ended up buying the high-energy sesame bun instead. I'm Not glad.

Sunday loving~ hee hee.. well, I did LOTS of stuff today! Firstly, I went down to town to get my organic supply! hee... Walked to Tanglin Mall and Forum Gallery where the 2 organic store I wanted to go were. Then when I got all the stuffs I wanted, I walked all the way from Tanglin to Plaza Sing! haha... I was hungry by then and bought a Ya kun Tea to sip while walking! I like~ Anyway, these are what I got~

Peanut butter puffins, yoplait boston creme flavour, cranberries, thinkpink & thinkthin trail bars (more peanut butter), and freedom foods bars! Im glad I made the trip cause all these cant be bought in NTUC or cold storage near by!

The skin of my feet peeled when I was walking halfway, so I had to by plaster to tape it up. OUCH. I managed to reach home by 145 and had lunch which is... Burnt pumkin bread and tomatos. I had a handful of puffins to try... and its sooo goood! I love peanut butter~

I managed to study for 2-3 hrs. Doing law all the way. It always takes me so long to complete what I wanna do for law... and its always so draining....

The rain stopped and so I decided to go for a jog. I'm glad I did cause the air was so fresh~ It was so comfy! After my 5k run, I came back for dinner which was similar to yesterday's Oats (apple n cinnamon) with nuts and cranberries, tomatos, orange, and another handful of puffins! hee... oh, I also had wang wang! FULL!

And guess what Im going now? Yup, watching 舞林大道! There's 羅志祥!! haha...好帅哦!

Oh ya, I bought SHAPE to read today as well, there's this section that talks about our star... This was what mine said..

Home alone!

Today marks home alone day 1. My mum left for Shanghai on a praying trip and my dad went back to Shenyang to get his engine running again... which means that I will be home alone with thinthin (my cute myanmar maid. gosh, she really soo cute. haha) for 10 days till my mum returns! During this period, I'll be handling my own meals, which is something I wanted to do for a longg time. hehe.. I'll try cooking some simple one person dish which is healthy and hearty! YEAH~

My friday afternoon was spent with the girls in school dealing with our con tech project. Gosh, there's so much to do! But i'm glad that i have great project mates that will NEVER FAIL to brighten me up when I get all cranky and stuu in the midst of the discussion. Haha... I LOVE THEM! There was this TV ad trend between all of us, haha.. the imitation of "Mr Lim, 你的早餐", "啦啦啦啦啦啦啦啦，洗个澡!", and the visa advert. haha... we were so entertained by that!
so.... ZAMAOS, this is for both of u!!

Met Jeremy for dinner and we went to watch Departures in Bishan. Dinner was a vege wrap (me) and turkey 6-inch sub (Jere), we also shared Chicken balls and snacked on potato chips and sunflower seeds during the movie. Didnt get any pics of those though, I will do so next time! We took a pic in the cinema cause he said he looked good that day. haha.

Now to the movie, I thought it was rather heart-warming, the struggles of the relationships between the characters were intriging. I liked the way they potray the different work ethics of the undertakers, how some have sooo much respect for the job they do, and how some just work for the sake of doing so. It was indeed touching but there are certain scenes that will put a smile on your face as well. It really deserves all the awards it has been given. Thumbs Up! Oh ya, Ryoko Hirosue plays the wife of the lead actor in the show. So many years after beach boys and summer snow, she still looks GREAT! Her character really suits the role she's playing. I wanna watch beach boys again~

I didnt really do much today. Well, basically I met Jeremy for a swim. I did 20 laps (cause my body was still aching) while Jere suntanned. Then we bought lunch home and watched TV while eating. I had my left over slice of ang mo carrot cake while he had sliced fish porridge. Then we studied, watched a little youtube and slacked till he had to go for soccer! I did an hour of cardio and metabolism boast workout which I followed on exercisetv.com. IT WAS TIRING!! haha.. but fun and time seem to pass so fast when u have an "instructor" by your side! haha... After my cardio, I was perspiring like no one's business and was sooo hungry, so I made dinner!

Dinners was organic mutigrain and raisin oats with nuts, together with a persimon (one of my all time fav fruit!). I also had a packet of biscuits and wangwang cause I was still hungry! YUM! I love runny wet oats!

I caught Project Runway 5 today! Austin Scarlett was the guest judge this episode. He look so glamourous when he made his appearance! You've got to check him out... He's so creative with his designs! And he's got to be my fav contestant on season 1. I love the gown he designed on the show but I cant find it online!!! WHY??

Arnt the gowns he designed gorgeous? *drool..* I totally dig the last piece. The one with the model wearing the hat.

The designers are not bad this season but no one managed to catch my attention yet, anyway this is the winning look this episode.

I know its been long but remember the adidas fair i went? I managed to get this pair of boots for $49! What a deal!

I had lectures today, but besides being lazy and having to do some packing at home... I stayed st home! Yup, today was spent packing some stuffs at home, fetching my mum n ah ma to NTUC, completing JS outline, reading up on termite mounds and doing some stay-in exercise. I wanted to go for a jog after my dosage of 娛樂百分百, but I was too lazy to do so by the time the show ended. And besides that, I found this website (exercise TV) and was dying to try the exercises they had! So, as part of my healthy living plan, I spent say... 45mins doing yoga for abs (1omins), abs cardio blast (13 mins), abs exercise (20mins)!! And I was perspiring by the time I completed all 3 sets! 满足!

I had a slice of this english style organic carrot cake and a handful of trail mix nuts for lunch. This cake is sooo yummy! haha... not so sweet but sooo moist! I still have another slice waiting for me to savour. Hms, maybe I should bring it to school for lunch tml or keep it for breakfast on fri. I think it will be able to last for 2 days... :)

Frozen grapes! My all time favorite dessert/fruit! Actually, I like all stuff frozen/chilled- yoghurt,milk, fruits (grapes, watermelon, honeydew) cause they all taste like ICE CREAM! I love it when it melts in my mouth... HmmmmmMMM, I still have one box in the freezer waiting for me~

I realized I've been blogging more often these few days. Actually, I found out that I'm becoming addicted to this.. and, Im lovin it!

Updates! Yup, I have been running lately and managed to clock say... 15km out of the 20km i wanna get this week. I think i will complete the last 5km on sunday. :)

Well, I went to the organic store near my house yesterday hoping to be able to get my fav pumpkin bun, but it was out of stock :( (they are soooo yummy) . Then i saw these Kashi Peanut Butter Bars and went over to grab a few home to try. Guess what? The aunty gave them to me FREE! Yup! haha.. well, its actually because they were around 2 days expired and she warned me to take small bites in case it taste funny. Well, who cares? haha.. so i thanked her and went home to try it immediately! gosh, i LOVED it! U can really taste the peanut butter, yum! Plus, it doesnt taste funny at all, so greedy little me managed to finish the whole bar in like 5 mins. haha... I wish that i can find a store here that sells a wide variety of bars, cause i love them so much that i can eat it everyday. heee...

Alright, this was suppose to be a short post cause i need to do my law assignment now. I'll probably go for a swim with my mum later and head down to the Adidas fair tml! Till then, TATA~

This week has been really busy. Fatigueness is streaming through my blood. Hopefully it will subside whenever the weekend comes. And that is what i have been looking forward to. Hvnt been blogging lately, that responsibility has fallen onto FK's lap whenever she's free. This week, i have finally taken part in my school's event. Haha( sheepishly) After one and a half sem. It was my school's talentime and my friend was taking part in it. And he swept the crowd off their feet,like totally. I really didn't expect that sort of performance. Kev, you're unbelieveable! Go Bruce Springsteen!!! I stayed over at my friend's place to discuss our film project. That day,18/03/09 is the date GAYLORDS Productions is created. Future fans out there, please anticipate our first release 1min film project. IF GOES OUT WELL...erhem..***

I'm kinda obsessed with going through some health enthusiast blogs these few days and it suddenly striked me to think that life's just too short for us to allow any sickness and whatever to conquere our body before we get old and haggy. Thus, I've decided that I should somehow make some changes to my life and maybe try to do something useful before my body start to die down by itself (gosh, I sound like some old aunty that is down with some kinda terminal illness). Alright, enough of the all say but nothing done, here are some of the stuffs that I will try to incorperate into my life to get on the road of HEALTHY LIVING!

1. Have at least 7hrs of sleep every day. (I wonder how is this gonna happen during the exams, I guess i should incoperate naps to clock up on the sleep time!)

2. Clock at least 20km of jogging every week. ( Yup, I'm determined. Maybe I should join a 10km run or something. Lets see how it goes first.)

3. Healthy lifestyle= HEALTHY EATING!

4. I was thinking of having a 3-5 days detox every last week of the month where I will go VEGETARIAN! haha... (how extreme is that? but I know this will help.) I will try it out and see where it will take me to..

5. .... other things that I will do if I think it will help me at least... (haven thought of anything else)

YUP, thats basically it. Apart from using this blog to show my love and affection for 小猪, I'll use this as a medium to track my progress too! Erm besides that, maybe review some healthy stuffs I've tried! hahah... Now, I'm kinda excited to start this journey. Tell me its not tooo late...

Quick settle my internship!

I've been rather unhappy about some stuffs that happen in school lately... Its like causing alot of problems to me and dage. Well, earlier last year we had the opportunity to go to Shanghai for an internship. And we basically had to get confirmation from the company and then book our own airline tickets, find our own accomadation and stuff if the company were not providing it for us. We got a confirmation once from the company (which i decided not to mention) telling us the address in China (without giving us extra information on when we were suppose to report and our allowance etc.). This confirmation was given to us through mail LAST YEAR and from then on, we had no other mails from them. Naturally before booking our tickets, we emailed the company for more details but we NEVER heard from them. Who else to look for but the profs that were liasing for us right? So, we wrote an email to them to ask for help. GOSH! Not only did we get a lecture( in a bad sense of course) from one of them, that particular lecturer even said soem rather negative things about us! I mean, what did we do wrong? Is asking for confirmation an offence? Can you believe that the department want us to get the tickets when we dont have any information or exact confirmation form the company yet?!!!!!!!!! What if we got the tickets and the company decides to back out?! Thats like soooooo irresponsible! GOSH. If this goes on, I would rather not go. How to trust a company that doesnt give their interns any information about their working situation in their company?

I CANT WAIT TO GET OVER THIS MATTER. GOSH, CANT THE DEPARTMENT SETTLE THIS ONE AND FOR ALL???

Jere and I went for 羅志祥's autograph session at East Point mall! haha.. yup, I pulled him along. We reached around 5pm and there were already soooo many ppl! We waited for him to arrive at 7pm and let me tell u, the wait was worth it! haha. He's soo nice! Well, he agreed to sign any of his albums. (which the organizers previously said that we could only have the latest one autographed by him) YAHOO! haha. He was like, flawless! And gosh, he really looks so young! Like some kid. haha. I LIKE~

SATURDAY 7/3/09

Firstly, I would like to thank Uncle K-box for the tickets for the award show. He gave us 2 tickets for the red zone which was really upfront! THANKS! There were lots of artist present at the show. They include Derrick Ho, JJ, Steph Sun, Ling Feng , Energy and of course SHOW! Oh ya, there was Aska also (he got to buck up on his fashion sense, wats with the 3/4 pants and shoes w/o socks?). 羅志祥 won 3 awards which includes ARTIST OF THE YEAR! haha. :) His performance was awesome! Ended the concert with a BIG BANG.

I cant wait to see him again!

It has been a busy weekend starting from friday. And I'm deadbeat. But I guess it is all worth it for my mosquito. I guess she will have tons and tons of stuff to write on the blog when she has the time to spare. I played soccer this morning on a muddy field, feels like secondary school days. Practically covered in mud after the game though I only played about 60 mins. The scoreline was amazing, about 8-1! Great shit yo. But I'm not in the winning side,hahaha. Overall,a good game,met new people and fun.

I've got IT1003 term test tml. Although its an open book test, I'm kinda worried cause I dunno what else to study besides reading my text! haha.. Looks like there nothing much I can do now. Bleh. Well, I had my JS meeting today and it suddenly struck me how soon the exams will be! Time is like flashing past sooo fast! Gosh. Dage and I haven got any reply from Teopin nor the school about our PTS yet. Looks like its not gonna come true. *I m so tried of always contacting the school for confirmation. They dont even give a damn.*

School stuff aside, this weekend will be soooo much fun! I cant wait! Check back for all my upcoming adventures!

PHOTOGRAPHY AT ITS BEST

I was doing my readings on photography and I came across this fine photographer called Nan Goldin. Her pictures mostly depict herself as a witness, someone who had been on the scenes of her pictures, or rather an observer. She shows the lives of a particular group of Americans during the early 70s. This group was made of drug junkies, gays and trans. And they were her good friends as well. However, their high-risk life involving drugs and sex could not last long as most of them ended up with the deadly virus AIDS. She saw them through their last days in the lens of the camera. She said something which I felt like sharing to the rest of you here; about her perception of photography. I thought it was unique and something close to the heart.

This is what she said: " photography doesn't preserve memory as effectively as i had thought it would. A lot of the people in the book are dead now, mostly from AIDS. I had thought that i could stave off through photographing. I always thought if i photographed anyone or anything enough, i would never lose the person, i would never lose the memory, i would never lose the place. But the pictures show me how much i've lost. AIDS changed everything." (Goldin 1996: 145)
